GET HELP WITH A DAMAGED PIECE
All new items purchased at Friedmans.com carry a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty at no extra cost to the buyer. That means that if a piece is defective from the manufacturer that the item will be repaired or replaced (that option is determined by Friedman’s). Estate or Make-an-Offer items carry a 1 year warranty. Items that are modified, damaged or abused are subjected to having the warranty voided. The warranty does not cover stone replacement, but will cover stone re-installation. All that you’ll need is your order number and to fill out the information on the repair portal.
We’ll be more than happy to help, if you have a loose stone or a piece that may possibly become an issue, but isn’t one quite yet. If a stone is loose, it is much easier to tighten it and check the other stones than waiting for the stone to fall out. If you have question regarding the item – please be proactive and submit it through the repair portal.
Please do not simply mail product back to our store, please visit the repair portal and you’ll be given instructions and an RMA for your piece.

Purchases Before 2009
On occasion we get questions regarding our ability to honor Friedman’s past warranties (2009 and earlier) so we would like to answer those questions. Though we’ve relaunched with the “Friedman’s Jewelers” name, the company is not owned by the same entity that provided any specific promises to individuals, warranties or replacements. There were hundreds of Friedman’s stores and we’ve received so many phone calls. We wish that we could take care of all of the old warranties with the old product, but we do not have access to those manufacturers or their product nor we did receive the warranty records in order to remind owners of the once a year check-up on those pieces. That’s why we’ve decided in going forward that it’s really unfair to sell anyone a lifetime warranty, because many times product owners outlive the companies that offer those warranties.
